Hull Bloggers - Al Porto

As you may or may not have heard/ seen quite a few of us raving about, there was an event on, on Sunday 30th August for a group of Hull Bloggers at Al Porto, Hull. This was an amazing event organised and held by three lovely bloggers Alex, Jenny & Kat and all their hard work really paid off! I would just like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to those 3 ladies and also to Al Porto themselves as well as all the brands involved in our day. Prior to the event I hadn't met a single person but everyone made me feel so welcome!

So our day started with cocktails, introductions and chats/demonstrations with a few brands that where there. The brands present where Lush, Viridian & Weleda and we were all able to have a chat about the brands and the products they have on offer. While all this was going on, the lovely staff at Al Porto were circulating with some delicious food! As the day went on there were more introductions, more food and a raffle!

We were all lucky enough to receive not one, not two, but THREE(!!!) incredible goodie bags from the organisers with some awesome brands inside as well as another 3 goodie bags from the brands that were there on the day! The huge raffle included yet more amazing products so all in all I came out with 7 jam packed bags full of fantastic treats! Not only was that really nice for us but all the money we raised from the raffle (which was over £200) went to The Eve Appeal who help fight gynaecological cancers!

Now I just know this is going to be the first of many #HBAlPorto posts as there is so many amazing brands and products I would love to write about so I thought I would kick it all off with some pictures from the day and also tell you exactly which of us bloggers attended so you can go check them and their Al Porto posts out too! It's going to get quite photo heavy but I hope you enjoy. <3
